Clean Water Action | E. Lansing, MI
| I currently act as a graphic designer for Clean Water Action, a grassroots environmental organization with over 100,000 Michigan members. My work plays a vital role in branding and expanding CWA's public image. Projects include developing member communications such as newsletters, direct mail, postcard campaigns to state and U.S. lawmakers, election literature for endorsed candidates, and visual props for press conferences and recruitment purposes. |

| Sept. 2002 - Current | ||||
| Community Organizer/ Field Manager |
Clean Water Action | E. Lansing, MI
| Currently I organize to protect water quality on the local, statewide, and national levels. Responsibilities include community outreach, fundraising, generating letters from the public to persuade and hold lawmakers accountable, and training others to be successful field canvassers. I have also assisted the campaigns of Texas Campaign for the Environment and Michigan Consumer Federation as a leading environmental activist and trainer. The passage of SB252 (Michigan's first polluter pay law) is a direct result of the community outreach efforts of CWA in 2002/03. |
